This Privacy Policy explains how ProfilePro ("ProfilePro", "we", "us", "our") — a brand operated under OEVS India — collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit profilepro.co.in (the "Website"), submit an enquiry, book a free profile assessment, message us on WhatsApp, or enrol in our programme. By using the Website or contacting us, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

Information you give us directly

• Contact details — full name, phone/WhatsApp number, email address
• Academic information — grade/qualification, academic scores, standardized test scores (SAT, GRE, GMAT, IELTS, TOEFL etc.)
• Study preferences — target countries, universities, courses and intended intake
• Any additional details you choose to share in our contact form, the profile-assessment pop-up, or in conversation over WhatsApp, phone or email
• If you proceed to enrol, further documents required to deliver the programme (e.g. transcripts, resume drafts, SOP drafts, passport details for visa guidance)

Information collected automatically

• Standard website usage data — pages visited, referring page, device and browser type, approximate location (via IP) — collected through analytics tools described in Section 6

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (such as financial account details or government ID numbers) through this Website; such information, if ever required for visa or loan guidance, is collected separately and directly by the relevant counsellor.

• To schedule and conduct your free profile assessment
• To respond to enquiries made via the contact form, pop-up, WhatsApp, phone or email
• To deliver the ProfilePro programme to enrolled students, including test-prep coordination, SOP/LOR review, visa and loan guidance, and administrative support
• To send you information you've requested about our services, and — where you haven't opted out — occasional updates about ProfilePro
• To understand how the Website is used, so we can improve it
• To meet legal, regulatory or contractual obligations

4. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

• OEVS group entities — since ProfilePro operates under the OEVS India umbrella, relevant counsellors and coordinators across the group may access your information to deliver the service
• Service providers — platforms we use to operate the Website and communicate with you, such as WhatsApp/Meta, Google Analytics, our email provider and website host, each bound by their own privacy terms
• Universities, test centres, visa authorities and lending institutions — only where you've engaged us for the corresponding service (e.g. application submission, visa filing, loan facilitation) and only to the extent needed to progress your application
• Legal or regulatory authorities — where required by applicable law, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others

5. WhatsApp & third-party platforms

Our contact form and profile-assessment pop-up open a pre-filled WhatsApp message to +91 8655849625 when submitted. This means the details you enter are transmitted over WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta and governed by WhatsApp's own Privacy Policy — we encourage you to review it. We use the conversation history on WhatsApp to follow up on your enquiry; please avoid sending sensitive information (such as full financial account numbers) over WhatsApp or any other messaging channel.

6. Cookies & analytics

The Website may use cookies and similar technologies, including Google Analytics (GA4) and the Meta Pixel, to understand aggregate visitor behaviour and measure the effectiveness of our marketing. These tools may set cookies in your browser and, where the Meta Pixel is active, may be used to show you relevant ProfilePro advertising on Meta platforms. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; doing so may affect some Website functionality.

7. Children & minors' data

Many prospective students are school students under 18. Where the person submitting an enquiry is a minor, we ask that a parent or guardian submits the enquiry, or is directly involved in the WhatsApp/phone/email conversation that follows. Parents and guardians may contact us at any time using the details in Section 14 to review, correct, or request deletion of a minor's information, or to withdraw consent for further contact. We do not knowingly use minors' information for purposes other than delivering the assessment and, where enrolled, the programme itself.

8. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry, deliver the programme if you enrol, and meet legal, accounting or regulatory requirements thereafter. Information relating to enquiries that don't convert to enrolment is retained for a reasonable follow-up period and then deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to remove it sooner.

9. Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or of messaging platforms such as WhatsApp, is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you (or a parent/guardian on behalf of a minor) may:

• Ask us what personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct inaccurate information
• Ask us to delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for legal or contractual reasons
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time
• Raise a complaint about how we've handled your information

11. Third-party links & embedded maps

Our Contact page embeds Google Maps to show our office locations, and our footer links to OEVS India and our social media profiles. These third-party sites and services have their own privacy policies, and we're not responsible for their content or practices.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000, to the extent applicable.
